What is the Gas Safe Register?
The Gas Safe Register is the official body that has been created to register all professionals who are qualified and registered to work both safely and legally on all types of gas appliances, including boilers, cookers and fires. They replaced CORGI, which, when it existed, was the sole official body to which all gas engineers were registered in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and Guernsey.
What the Gas Safe Register Does

To investigate any reports of unsafe gas work
The risk of a gas explosion or carbon monoxide poisoning
